The kids are out of school today and I am back to the office for the first time. To say this is lame is an under statement. We had such a great weekend. Everyone got along. Everyone was nice. I really thought it might be the end of the world. Yet here I am!!
Unfortunately we did not get to meet Miranda and Blake. But her store and house is only less than two hours from my house so I have hope that she will indeed invite me for dinner soon!
Our portion controlled clean eating also went out the window! We stopped at a place called BUBBA's to eat. You know no good can come from that! Then we decided what the heck lets go to Dallas and go to IKEA. Where they have fresh cinnamon rolls, and delicious meatballs, and a store FULL of home goods. But we are back on track now. here are some pictures from our weekend:
So... a little back story. Wayyy back in the day. Actually 12 years ago this month, I found out I was pregnant with The Tween. I was not even 18 and my Mom had passed away just months prior. To say life was crazy is the understatement of life! I found a message board of other Moms who were also due in October of 2001. There were tears, laughter, meet-ups, gift swaps, pictures and stories galore. Crazily enough I still have a great portion of these women STILL in my life today. We went from a public message board to a private message board and now we are in a private group on facebook. Watching our babies grow into teen-hood (cringe) we have talked diaper rashes to training bras to hormones together. One of the ladies just started doing Origami Owl. I am very minimalist as you all probably have figured out when it comes to fashion, make up and hair. And I just love this stuff and I know you will too! Without further adieu I will let Jess explain Origami Owl a little bit better :-)
This is such a great gift for other people or even yourself and totally affordable. Also, to sweeten the deal email me and let me know you have purchased and I will put all the names in a bowl and do a drawing for you to additionally win a $10.00 gift card of your choice from these options: Starbucks, Target or Kohl's. Please share this beautiful company with anyone you know!
That's all I have for this Monday ladies! How was your weekend? Did you see our Rap keeking? Sorry we had to cut it short! Mel and I are trying to see who can have a cough the longest :-)

Sounds like a fab weekend! I'm definitely jealous! Get any fun stuff at ikea?! I have never been and am dying to go sometime soon!!
