Oh weekend…. why must you leave me so soon!
I would love to have an interesting ooooh-ing and ahhh-ing weekend for you, yet I do not. We on;ly ended up having the Boy until yesterday avenue. SO my weekend was spent playing the new temple run 2, watching movies with my love in bed. And lots of wrestling with The Boy.
Saturday I did go and do something kind of cool though. I went and got a massage and facial for the first time at a Zen-type place. I was there for 3 hours and never wanted it to end. I already knew I would love the massage, but the facial? HEAVEN ON EARTH. I want another one, like yesterday/
I am not sure the salon understood or had good appreciation for the Kimmy though.
The three main reasons they will shudder when I come back:
1. They were whisperers. Why did no one warn me? I don't have a whisper in my whole entire body. They were all like hey how are you on this fine day and I was all like HEY WHAT"S UP PARTY PEOPLE KIMMY IN DA HOUSEEEE LETS RUB MAH BODYYYYY!!!
2. I fell asleep during the facial and awoke to my self hard core snoring. It was not pretty y'all. The aesthetician "sniffled" when I jerked but I am absolutely sure it was a laugh.
3. When asked my skin care regimen I replied oh you know soap, or whatever the teenagers in my house are using to wash their skin. They like the stuff that smells fruity. I am pretty sure her smile and nod was also unspoken words saying whyareyougettingahundereddollafacialandyoustealfacewashfromteens. Thats my confession for you today folks. I have no skin care regimen. THERE I SAID IT.
Today is the last day to get your Origami Owl from me. She busted out the sports examples last night and I was like ohhhh yeahhh come to mama!!!
That's all I gots for ya today! Come back tomorrow for an update on the CTBM situation. Which is sure to be a good time!
How was your weekend? Any awkward salon experiences.

The whisperers, that is freaking hilarious. I'm sure they just want to project a calm atmosphere, but it is still pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteI've only ever gotten one massage before, but I also dozed off and snored myself awake. So classy.
I am so jealous! I've always wanted to get a facial! I'd probably fall asleep too lol! I've been reading your blog for awhile and also LOVE your friday night keek rap with Mel. You are just too funny! I finally started my own blog so feel free to check it out! Happy Monday Girl

Massages are awesome - Love them. and Rap Keek off on Friday I am already even trying to figure out my jams. LOL
ReplyDeleteHaha! Those snooty whisperers!
ReplyDeleteBah ha ha haaaaaaaaa!!!!!! So totally laughing out loud here (and yes, I just spelled that out - duh!)!!!! Best weekend update I've read so far! And I'm totally jealous, I want a spa day!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't get facials anymore, but when I did, I was like um, I normally just go to bed without washing my face. THE END
ReplyDeleteNow that I actually DO have a skincare regimen, I'm no longer getting facials. Go figure.
I'm sooooooooo jealous of the facial and the massage. I've never had either and they sound soooooooooo wonderful! :) I"m glad you enjoyed it!! You aren't the only one without a facial cleansing routine. I seriously just use whatever bodywash I have on hand to wash my face, once a day in the shower and that's it. I don't wear makeup, but still. I should probably care about my skin a bit more! Did you get yelled at for your lack of a regimen??
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny about whispering at the spa! So hear ya on that one. We have two settings in my house. Loud and louder!
