195. Down another pound. Seriously people. This is unreal to me. I know at first I wanted to go all biggest loser on some peeps and drop fifteen pound in a week. But one pound a week after spending 12 years putting on these pounds? I will FLIPPING TAKE IT!!!! It seems like just the right number to slowly say PEACE out to those ELLE BEES once and for all!! I still have not been able to eat an entire bag of salad like Megan does in one setting but I am getting pretty close!!! Heres to next week and another pound lighter!

Yesterday I spent the day teaching someone hwo to use a mouse on their computer. For two hours. I am still recovering trying to regain the few brain cells I actually did have that functioned before this little event happened in my life.
Now!!!! Onto why this day is SO very AWESOME!
Its The Boys birthday!!!!!
My mama's boy is 7 years old!!! here he is 1-6

We are doing it up right as I told you waffle house laser tag, presents and Star Wars cupcakes. As if you expected anything else!!! I wrapped up his lunch stuff today since he has school. Yeah.... I'm THAT mom. Sue me.
Go Kimmy!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 1 lb! Slow loss means healthy loss that will stick!! ... And happy bday to the boy!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the loss girl! You're so right 1lb a week IS progress. It wont happen overnight, but slow and steady wins the race right?!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your little man! G will be 7 in April- where does the time go?! I LOVE how you did his lunch. Looks like a great way to start off his birthday.
slow and steady girl slow and steady! Here's to February & the 180's...we're gonna get this!! xoxox
ReplyDeleteYeah on the loss... good job girl! And happy birthday to your boy... not gonna lie, a little jealous of your Waffle House meal coming up. Enjoy that for me!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your boy!!! We don't have waffle houses here I'm so jealous :( Good job on the loss girly!
ReplyDeleteSlim Kimmy, love it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with being happy with 1 pound a week. I feel like it is just healthy habits that we are forming and when we finally get to our goal weight it will be easy to maintain.
ReplyDeleteSo congrats on that 1 pound!
Happy Birthdy to your little man and congrats on the weight loss! A pound is still a pound.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your little man and CONGRATULATIONS! 1 pound down is AMAZING!! I love Slim Kimmy and will from here on out only call you that!
ReplyDeleteI saw the wrap every item in the lunch box idea on Pinterest and figured that was the most brilliant idea ever. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've read that when you lose a pound a week it is more healthy on your body AND! it's more likely to stay off because it means you're doing lifestyle changes and not dieting. Dieting is meant to come to an end but lifestyle changes....well that's change for the better. Keep it up!
Yeah, any loss is awesome! That is so incredible, and I'm seriously loving Slim Kimmy. = )
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the loss this week, Slim Kimmy!
ReplyDeleteAlso, your computer story. That sounds AWFUL. And it reminds me of when I used to write for a healthcare software company and everyone in Development was required to go on at least one customer support trip a year where we helped the staff at new customer hospitals/clinics adjust to our software when they first installed it. We had to develop a few basic "this is a computer" documents after a while because so many people were computer illiterate. One of my old coworkers once told a lady to click a button with her mouse and the woman proceeded to pick up her mouse and TAP the monitor with it!
I love Slim Kimmy. I am losing .5 to 1 pound a week and I am happy with that. I am so jealous of the biggest loser people and their 10+ losses. Oh well. Slow and steady wins the race! Your story about the mouse reminds me of helping my dad with his new Ipad mini. ARGH!
ReplyDeleteA pound a week is great and the slow weight loss leads to long term weight loss. Happy Birthday to your boy :)
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute that you wrapped his lunch....storing that idea for later!
ReplyDeleteHope he had a great day!
And I'm über jelly you have your 30 in 30 list done! My 30th is TODAY and I'm scrambling to finish mine (20 more things to be exact.) Aghhhhh!
Happy birthday to your boy! I love the wrapped lunch stuff!
ReplyDeleteWhy why why is taking weight off so much harder and slower than putting it on? Keep working!
Love the title of your post! Slow and steady wins the race when it comes to dropping pounds. If you take them off the right way, they're more likely to stay off.
