I didn't have time to post this morning because I got to go to The Tween's school where I had her make an announcement to the class and the teachers that she lies and can not be trusted until she is showing her honesty for an extended period of time. Her and The Teen are huge into this lying thing lately. I have no clue how two of the most honest parents have kids who are choosing to be deceitful. UGH.
We also had a special experience as always since The Teen is back with her Mom this week. J had her doing a Math review to study for her test and her mom was outraged. How dare he tell her to study when it is HER week. Give me a break people. Apparently holding her accountable is slowing her growth as a person. I would love to let her fail but with the school the way it is now its next to impossible. No child left behind act means smart students who are lazy can be mediocre and still pass. Thats just not the kind of humans we are raising to pick our nursing home!
Also weight loss related and SPOILER I am so glad Pam is off BL. She was about on my last nerve. Sorry not sorry!!!
I tried Subways egg white breakfast a la Elle Noel, and it was VERY delicious and kept me full. Plus it was under 3 bucks. Can't beat that!
Tomorrow I am totally doing the "If I were a boy…." link that is going around. So dang funny. HJ should do a If I were a girl one… BAH!
My day has been filled with work, baseball drama and kid behavior anxiety! Here is to Thursday and date night tonight! WOOT WOOT!

Girl, that teenage stress would make me eat a Big Mac fo' sho'! Kudos to you for keeping up with it! And the work and baseball drama? I feel ya there too! Although not really baseball drama, but baseball is a lot of work! Anyways, hope the scale is more kind than you think it will be and that the week ahead is good for you!
ReplyDeleteI ate a salad for three different meals this week. Sure wish I would have weighed in last week so I could compare this week. I bet it would be good news. But ya know, I only eat 'healthy' about three days out of the whole entire year. The rest of this year is going to suck for my diet.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you deal with tween/teen drama! I have had enough 3 year old boy drama!! Great job on being a pound down! So great!
ReplyDeleteMy 4 year old is so full of drama I can't even imagine what the teen years will be like. Great job on the loss!
