So Amanda wants to know the story behind our names, our kids names, our animals names. Really anything youve named I am sure. I will get to that but while we are on the subject of names I also have to add that, at least in my head, and sometimes outloud I give EVERYONE a nickname. Eample: People in my office CG (crazy girl) Creeper, Angry Birds, just to name a few. We call The Teen Hopey and The Boy J Drewzy and The Tween Boogie (which she totally hates NOW but you know honey badger don't careeee!)
Onto names
My name is Kimberly Dawn although there is no real reason of it I did start out with my name being Kimberly Lynn then when I was about a month old they changed it to Dawn because they like it better.
Hope's name is Hope Kerin, her mom picked the first name and her Dad picked her middle name. Obviously I wasn't there for that decision making process. She goes by Hope, Hopey, Hopemonster and Kerin. And since shes hear all the Hope jokes by using her name in "theres always Hope etc" shes totally over it. Ha!
Courtney- Courtney Brianne. Courtney was the only name we could agree on. My top pick was Gabriella. (Shes half Mexican) her middle name is after my best friend from child hood Brianna. We call her Courtney, C, Court, and Boogie.
Andrew- Andrew Thomas Lee. His first name was my top pick and we shorten it to Drew a lot. His dad hated Andy so he has never gone by that. How ironic his dad has not seen him since he was in diapers, eh? His middle names are his paternal and maternal grandfathers names. Lee is a huge family name on my side. Its my older brothers first name and my younger brothers middle name and my nephews middle name.
