Oh and you come crash....Into me, baby...

Bonus points if you know what song that is.

So its Monday.  Blah blah blah.  I was supposed to do a lot of stuff I didn't do this weekend and there was a lot of stuffed I didn't plan on doing that I did do.  So how is THAT for over and under achieving simultaneously? I know, I'm impressed with me too.

Friday night we finished watching the Netflix series House of Cards.  It was a great show, if you have not watched it yet you totally should.  All the cool kids are doing it.

Saturday I woke up and ran my first mile straight ever.  That's right people.  Last week I signed up for my first 5k.  Its a glo-run on March 2nd.  I figured now was as good of time as any to see what I was made of, right?  It was almost a 15 minute mile but I have to start somewhere!

Baseball also started this weekend even though crappy weather had different ideas for us.  We ended up just letting the boys run a muck around someone that was not me's house.  Which is why I still have all of my hair.  The girls did go outside and practice with J a bit though.  When I dropped them off there were some grown people having their own Skylanders: The Adventure Starts Here party at the park.  Complete with pop up tents everywhere.  I know, I know, I should have joined if not for nothing but a blog post, but I had places to be people.

The Boy had a friend over where I learned not only should you make sure to include the words DUDE and BETEND in as many sentences as possible.  But the word invincible is defined as star.  Yes, this is the future of our country people :-)

We also started watching Scandal on Netflix.  I know, TV addiction is bad.  We have issues.  But dammit Shonda Rimes, you know just what I like!! Anyone else watch this show?

Before you worry that all we do is watch TV I will have you know we did two other VERY exciting things with our Saturday night as a hip and awesome couple.  We separated my puzzle out in one side of middle pieces and one side of edges.

AND
I got my highest score ever on Temple Run
So don't worry about me, I am livin' the life.  and hopefully you got this post before you say Mel's since she rocked out Mardi Gras Style with tons of my fave bloggy ladies on Saturday.

Sunday the weather turned beautiful of course since we had no practices scheduled so J and I worked with the kids in the back yard.

I rocked some fruit kabobs for Andrews class tomorrow.
And then taught Courtney the importance of black head removal.  I know, I am a hypocrite.  I have NO skin care routine and I am harping on my daughter to do hers. The amount of joy I had in ripping those off might not be appropriate too.  Sorry not sorry!

Things I should have done that I didn't do?

1. Said no to eating pie.
2. Work on my Nosey Vlog (so yeah if you have anything you'd like to be nosey about shoot me the ?s in a comment still gotta get to that.)
3. Laundry

But whose counting really?  Right? Right.

Blackhead problems? Puzzle lover?  Nosey?

  5. When I read the title I heard Dave Matthews singing and strumming while sitting in front of a microphone. And I couldn't concentrate on the rest of your post because I kept hearing Davie boy singing in my ear.

  8. We watched the intro to House of Cards! It looked interesting, but we were too exhausted to get into it, so that's for another night! Kevin Spacey is creepy and fascinating at the same time.

Oh, and you're title's DMB. See, I'm hip.

  12. Girl, you are too funny! And I love me some Dave Mathews! I am super impressed with the mile!! You have inspired me to get out and time one. I am not a runner AT ALL but I would like to at least be able to run a little bit. I always wonder what I would do if I had to outrun a purse snatcher or something... Guess I'd have to go buy a new purse. ;)

  14. Is it not normal to end a weekend with a big list of "what I didn't do but I was supposed to"? Is that not normal? I thought it was. My bad, lol. So are all your chillrens in baseball/softball? If so, I freaking feel for you. I just put together our schedule for softball and my wallet just broke up with me over it!
